Jason Coleman

Jason Coleman lives in Maryland as a full time JC Sports Performance Deaf Trainer. Jason’s certifications include: Level 1 USA Sports Performance Specialist, EXOS Performance Specialist, and First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.


Jason currently travels across the United States of America to provide sports performance and fitness clinics. He hosted clinics at 17 Deaf schools since 2019. He also provides Sports ASL Workshops for Interpreters. He will host the third annual National Deaf Volleyball Camp this summer for Deaf/HoH/KODA.

 

Jason is a 2007 graduate from Gallaudet University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. During his time at Gallaudet, Jason was a 4x quarterback and captain for the football team. He also was a four year, three sport athlete at Maryland School for the Deaf where he received Deaf National Prep Football Player of the Year in 2001. He was on USA basketball Deaflympics team that won second place at Pan-Am games in Brazil and went Bulgaria for Deaflympics as a member of USA Team Handball. He worked at Maryland School for the Deaf as Physical Education Team Leader/Strength and Conditioning Coach before becoming full time JC Sports Performance trainer.
